Experimental investigation of natrium chloride neutron induced reactions for nuclear reactors cooled by molten salts
Burian, J.
The article deals with the experiment within the Master’s thesis written on Department of Electrical Power Engineering in Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication (FEEC) on Brno University of Technology (BUT). The behavior of NaCl in neutron field was studied via irradiation indium cylinders surrounded by the salt. As a result are charts of reaction rate for two nuclear reactions and three measuring channels.
Triboelectric Sensing Systems
Riha, David
Triboelectric phenomenon, historically, is one of many problems which engineers wantedto be avoid. However nowadays this phenomenon seems to be useful source of electrical signalfor displacement measurement. In this work all sensing elements are made from pure PVDF byelectrospinning manufacturing method. Nano fibres, which are result of the process are placed toaluminium foil naturally without mechanical rectifying. Used material was tested only for triboelectriccharge generation, although piezoelectric phenomenon was expected. We were not able toquantify it by standard methods, probably due to chaotic structure and fabric behaviour of the finalproduct. Triboelectric phenomenon is possible to measure directly, and systems are more predictable. Finally, two modes were tested, and potential advantages and disadvantages were qualified.
Multiple Instance Learning Framework Used For Ecg Premature Contraction Localization
Novotna, Petra
We propose the model combining convolutional neural network with multiple instancelearning in order to localize the premature atrial contraction and premature ventricular contraction. The model is based on ResNet architecture modified for 1D signal processing. Model was trainedon China Physiological Signal Challenge 2018 database extended by manually labeled ground truthpositions of premature complexes. The presented method did not reach satisfying results in PAClocalization (with dice = 0.127 for avg-pooling implementation). On the other hand, results of localizationof PVCs were comparable with other published studies (with dice = 0.952 for avg-poolingimplementation).
Smart Home Gateway
Bláha, Jakub
The Home Assistant software is a great open-source way of building an automatizedsmart home solution. It allows to connect smart devices of different manufacturers using the Zigbeeprotocol. Home Assistant can be installed on a Raspberry Pi which makes it a cheap solution. Itprovides a comfortable user interface and plenty of add-ons, which further extend its capabilities.
Delta 3D Printer Construction With 32-Bit Electronics
Němec, Radek
This paper deals with the construction of delta 3D printer, including all necessary peripherals. Paper mentions benefits of delta 3D printers in comparison with the most common cartesian type of 3D printers. The main part of this paper is about created 3D model of delta 3D printer with all its components which includes 32-bit electronics controlling board used for this printer.
Defect Detection In Fibered Material Using Methods Of Machine Learning
Lang, Matěj
SILON s.r.o is manufacturer of polyester fibres which get used in wide range of applications, many of them requiring highest quality material. Due to manufacturing processes, some fibres are not drawn properly and stay in the fiber as bundles, or brittle, thick threads. Proposed lab station should automate process of quality check of each batch. It consists of linescan camera scanner and computer with software for detection and analysis of defects.
Changes In Properties Of Perovskite Solar Cells During Their Lifetime
Dvořák, Tomáš
This paper deals with the problematics of perovskite solar cells, which can be the next generation of photovoltaic solar cells. The objectives of this research are to analyse changes in perovskite solar cells. For measurements of electrical properties were used various methods such as I-V characteristic, intensity modulated photovoltage spectroscopy and dependence of photocurrent on light intensity. Measurements indicate considerable changes of performance, which resulted from aging of perovskite solar cells. Results suggest deeper observation of perovskite solar cells.
Model Of Robotic Arm
Sobota, David
This work deals with the robotic arm model and role of robotic arms in Industry 4.0. The work deals also with possibilities of a construction and controlling of robotic arm, including programming of firmware and computer application with user interface.
Tesla’s Turbine As A Source Of Energy
Šedina, Martin
This thesis deals with the theory of bladeless Tesla turbine, explains its operation, describes its construction described in Tesla’s patent and explains the physical principles that are underway. Furthermore, the description of the construction of a bladeless turbine, which is based on a combination of Tesla turbine and a pump, which should improve the practical properties.
Robot
Flek, O.
The objective of this paper is to design and produce a robot based on a four wheel chassis equipped with a robotic arm capable of manipulating small objects. The robot should be able to operate in an autonomous mode controlled by a microcontroller and in a mode controlled wirelessly by an operator in real time. Precision and accuracy of the robotic arm should be sufficient for the collection of small objects, such as syringes and needles. The entire robot should be easy to operate user-friendly controls so as to minimize training for other users. The machine construction should be easily disassembleable - allowing easy adjustment or replacement of any of its parts.
